Noise is a physics problem — and physics problems can be solved. We combine engineering, architecture, and careful field measurement to control sound in buildings, equipment, and the environments around them.

For an outdoor amphitheater near a noise-sensitive neighborhood, we engineered an adaptive noise-control system that uses a secondary speaker array to cancel low-frequency sound at the property line — continuously self-correcting as weather and conditions change.

Ron Haines has been contracting since 1985 — long enough to have wired the venues, mixed the shows, managed the tours, and written the software. Ron Haines Group, LLC was established in 2013 to bring all of that experience under one roof. What ties it together is a single habit: understanding how a thing really works, then engineering it to work better.
